Who we are
The Platform is operated by INFINICARE AI PRIVATE LIMITED, No. 171, 9th Main Rd, 7th Sector, HSR Layout, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560102, India. We are the data fiduciary for the personal data described in this policy under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), and we also follow the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it.
By using the Platform you agree to the processing described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address, mobile number, date of birth, gender and, for corporate users, your employer and corporate code.
- Health information you add: vitals, medical records and lab reports, prescriptions and medication reminders, appointments, symptoms and health assessment answers.
- Apple Health data: only the data types you approve on the iOS permission screen (see “Apple Health (HealthKit)” below).
- Connected device readings: readings from compatible Bluetooth health devices you choose to pair, such as blood pressure monitors or glucometers.
- Health Assistant questions: the questions you type or speak to the AI Health Assistant and the answers it gives.
- Payment information: when you buy a plan or service, payment is handled by PayU. We receive the transaction status and reference — we never receive or store your full card or bank details.
- Device and usage data: device model, operating system, app version, push-notification token, IP address, crash and error logs, and how you use features.
- Website enquiries: the details you enter in forms on this website (such as name, email, phone, company and message).
Apple Health (HealthKit)
If you use the InfiniCare iOS app, you can choose to let InfiniCare read selected data from Apple Health. We ask for this permission only when you turn the feature on, and you choose exactly which data types to share.
- InfiniCare only reads Apple Health data. It is used solely to show your health information inside InfiniCare and to provide the features you have turned on, such as vitals tracking, trends and health insights.
- Apple Health data is never used for advertising, marketing or data mining, and is never sold or shared with advertisers or data brokers.
- Apple Health data is not disclosed to any third party except a service provider that helps us run the feature you requested, or where you explicitly ask us to share it (for example, with a doctor).
- You can stop sharing at any time in iPhone Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → InfiniCare. Data already in your InfiniCare account can be deleted as described under “Account deletion”.
AI Health Assistant and third-party AI processing
The Health Assistant uses a third-party AI service, OpenAI, to generate answers. When you ask a question, the question and the context needed to answer it are sent to OpenAI for processing, and the answer is returned to you in the app.
- Under OpenAI’s API terms, data sent through its API is not used to train OpenAI’s models by default.
- Please avoid including information in a question that you do not want processed by the AI service, such as other people’s details.
- Health Assistant answers are general information. They are not a diagnosis or a substitute for advice from a qualified doctor.
Microphone and voice input
InfiniCare asks for microphone access only so you can ask the Health Assistant a question by voice. The microphone is used only while you are actively recording, after you tap the microphone button. Your speech is converted to text to send your question.
We do not record in the background and do not use your voice for any other purpose. You can turn microphone access off at any time in your phone’s settings; typing questions will continue to work.
How we use your information
- To provide the Platform — your health records, vitals, reminders, appointments, assessments and insights.
- To send service notifications you have enabled, such as medication reminders and appointment alerts.
- To process payments and provide the plans or services you purchase.
- To respond to your support requests and website enquiries.
- To keep the Platform secure, prevent fraud and fix problems.
- For corporate programmes, to give employers anonymised, aggregated wellness reports — never an individual employee’s health data without that employee’s explicit consent.
- To comply with law.
We do not use your health data for advertising and we do not sell your personal data.
Service providers we use
We share data with the following service providers only as needed to operate the Platform. They are bound to use it only on our instructions.
- Google Firebase — push notifications and app infrastructure.
- Apple — HealthKit (on your device) and Apple Push Notification service.
- OpenAI — AI processing of Health Assistant questions.
- PayU — payment processing.
- Resend — delivering website enquiry emails to our team.
- Cloudflare Turnstile — protecting website forms from spam and abuse.
- Cloud hosting providers — storing and serving the Platform.
We may also share information with doctors, labs or hospitals when you ask us to; with authorities where the law requires it; or with a successor entity in a merger or acquisition, which must keep the same protections.
Account deletion
You can delete your InfiniCare account and its data at any time from inside the app: open the app and go to Profile → Delete Account, then confirm.
If you cannot access the app (for example, you no longer have the phone number you signed up with), email hello@infinicare.ai from the email address or with the mobile number linked to your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We will verify the request and confirm when it is done.
After deletion, your personal and health data is removed from our active systems within 90 days and from backups within a further 180 days. We may keep a limited record where the law requires it (for example, payment records for tax purposes), and anonymised data that can no longer identify you.
Deleting your InfiniCare account does not delete data stored in Apple Health on your phone — that stays under your control in the Health app.
How long we keep data
We keep your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Platform. When you delete your account, we delete your data as described above. Website enquiries are kept only as long as needed to respond and follow up.
How we protect your data
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is restricted to authorised staff on a need-to-know basis, and access to health data is logged. More detail is on our Security & Privacy page at https://infinicare.ai/security.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act and other applicable law, you can:
- access a summary of the personal data we hold about you;
- correct or update inaccurate data (most of it directly in the app);
- delete your data and account;
- withdraw consent at any time — this does not affect processing already done;
- nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity;
- raise a grievance with us, and then with the Data Protection Board of India.
To exercise any right, contact us at hello@infinicare.ai. We respond within 30 days.
Children
The Platform is intended for adults. Where a parent or legal guardian adds a child’s health information (for example, in a family profile), they do so on the child’s behalf and with the authority to consent for them. We do not knowingly allow children to create their own accounts.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and notify you in the app or by email before the changes take effect.
